Starting from their very first quarter, Life West students are introduced to various aspects of patient care and chiropractic case management. Theoretical concepts are reinforced throughout the curriculum, with hands-on simulated and patient-based opportunities for practical application.
Patient outcomes are directly influenced by connection to their providers – at Life West, learning how to be a doctor encompasses technique, the adjustment, and so much more.
Helping students understand cultural humility is a crucial part of providing patient care – providers do not have to understand every single aspect of every single patient’s culture; they do have a responsibility to be willing to see their patient’s health and pain through the lens the patient uses.
Many schools offer just one approach to analysis and chiropractic adjustments, whereas at Life West students are encouraged to find their best service in chiropractic by exploring a variety of different approaches to subluxation analysis and delivery of chiropractic care.
There are numerous core technique offerings, and even more elective technique offerings at Life West, all of which offer students both theoretical knowledge and practical application of various chiropractic techniques. Taking more technique courses in school allows for more practice of them in the Health Center – leading Life West students to identify their best service in chiropractic are they embark on preceptorship and practice beyond graduation.
